Eleanor and her twin sister organised a Christmas drinks party for lots of friends. It was a fantastic start to the festive season and the twins were thrilled to discover that they have raised over £900 for Secondary1st.

Hannah organised a coffee morning to celebrate the festive season and sold lots and lots of the fantastic snowmen which her mother-in-law had made and donated for Secondary1st. The morning raised about £650. Everyone had a great time and the snowmen each found a new home where they could be loved and admired.
Ellen was so encouraged by the success of the coffee morning she and her mum had arranged in August that she organised a table top sale of seasonal goodies. The cakes, buns and coffee with a great raffle and raised another £900 for Secondary1st.
The Inaugural Annual Dinner of the Procurement Lawyers’ association was held in the ballroom of the Lansdowne Club. On 28th October Secondary1st presented two cheques to help fund research projects at the Beatson Institute at the University of Glasgow and the Institute of Cancer Therapeutics at the University of Bradford. A display of information at Afan College in Port Talbot, one of the NPTC group of colleges in Wales, is raising awareness of secondary breast cancer among staff and students.
JH Mechanical Services Limited, who have adopted Secondary1st as their Charity of the Year, ate cakes for a day to mark Breast Cancer Awareness and raise funds for the Charity. They found that cakes for breakfast and lunch are a great way to mark a special day.
